Can I Make The Cups Keto and Dairy Free?
You can always sub the sugar free chocolate chips for dairy free chocolate chips, however I have yet to find a brand that has been able to eliminate the sugar and so you will be left with a higher carb count.
You will either have to make them keto friendly or dairy free.
How To Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
- Melt sugar free chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave and stir to mix.
- Stir together slightly warmed peanut butter in a separate bowl with some sweetener.
- Grease a muffin tray with cooking spray and spoon in the chocolate mixture as the bottom layer of the cups. Then freeze.
- Layer on the peanut butter mixture as the middle layer, and freeze.
- Layer the top layer of the chocolate and freeze again.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top as desired.
How to Store Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
In order to keep these bad boys as fresh as possible, you’ll want to keep them in an airtight container either in the fridge or the freezer.
They will stay fresh in the fridge for about a month. Freeze for up to six months and defrost at room temperature before eating. Enjoy!
